Terms of Use

The agreement between you and PareloSolutions when you use the website, the apps and any paid license.

Last updated October 27, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and PareloSolutions (“we”, “us” or “our”). They cover the AX Downloader website, the Windows and macOS applications, license delivery and any related services (together, the “Service”).

By downloading, installing or using the app, or by using the website in any way, you accept these Terms, including our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, uninstall the app and stop using the Service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) to use the Service or purchase a license.
  • You may not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by law, including where you would breach applicable sanctions or export-control restrictions.
  • Licenses are personal. One license covers one person on the devices your plan allows — it may not be shared with other people.

3. The service

AX Downloader downloads video and audio from over 1,000 sites — YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Vimeo, Twitch, SoundCloud, Reddit and others. The free plan covers 10 downloads a day, video up to 1080p, audio extraction to MP3 and M4A and saving subtitles as .srt files. Pro removes the daily limit and adds 4K and original-quality video, batch downloads for playlists and channels and parallel downloads. The Lifetime plan also unlocks every future Pro feature.

We may add, change or retire features over time. We can’t promise that any particular site will keep working: platforms change constantly, and we update the app with each release to keep up.

You decide what to download and you are responsible for doing it lawfully. The Service is a general-purpose tool: make sure you have the rights to the content you download and that you don’t breach the terms of the platform it comes from, any agreement you have with it, or applicable law.

4. Plans, checkout and licenses

Paid plans are described on the pricing page and at checkout: Pro (a subscription billed every 3 months or every year) and Lifetime (a one-time purchase). The plan you choose determines the features you get, how many devices you can activate (up to 3) and how long the license runs. The wording shown at checkout for the plan you bought forms part of these Terms.

Checkout is completed by our payment processor, and your license key is delivered to the email you provide. We never see your full card details.

5. License keys

We don’t use accounts. A paid license is a key sent to your email after checkout. Keep it confidential — anyone who has it can activate devices on your plan.

Every paid plan can be activated on up to 3 devices. When you reach the limit, deactivate a device before activating another.

Lost your key? Request it again on the license page: we resend the key for every active license on that email address.

We may deactivate a key that was shared, resold or used to circumvent the device limit.

6. Subscriptions and renewals

Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (every 3 months or every year) using the payment details you entered at checkout, until you cancel. Lifetime plans are one-time purchases and never renew.

You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for — you keep access until then. The period you already paid for is not refunded for the remainder, except as described in our Refund Policy.

If we change prices, we’ll give you reasonable notice before the next renewal at the new price — if the new price isn’t for you, cancel before it applies. Forgetting to cancel an active subscription is not by itself a valid ground for a chargeback; our Refund Policy explains what we do in that case.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service:

  • to download or use content in a way that infringes copyright or any other rights;
  • in any way that breaches applicable law or the rights of platforms or creators;
  • to share, resell or sublicense your license key, or to share one license across people beyond a single user;
  • to circumvent the device limit or daily limits by technical means such as modifying the app or automating requests;
  • to take down or reverse-engineer the Service, except to the extent applicable law allows it and cannot be excluded;
  • to place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure, or to access it with automated tools without our written permission;
  • to upload or introduce malware or any code designed to disrupt software;
  • to impersonate any person or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation in support, refund or billing contacts.

We may take appropriate action against any unauthorized use, including deactivating licenses, terminating access and pursuing legal remedies.

8. Third-party content and copyright

The files you download are served by third-party platforms, not by us. We don’t host, monitor or license that content; the rights to it belong to its owners, who are responsible for protecting them.

You are solely responsible for what you download through the Service and how you use it. Any dispute about that is between you and the platform or rightsholder — not us.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe the Service is being used to infringe yours, email [email protected] with a description of the work and where it concerns your use. Users who repeatedly use the Service in violation of others’ rights may have their licenses revoked.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service — including the app code, the website, the AX Downloader name, logo and page designs — is owned by PareloSolutions and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service under these Terms. All other rights are reserved.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely to improve the Service — without any compensation or obligation to you.

10. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and because third-party platforms change all the time, we can’t guarantee that any particular site, format or feature will always work.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain disclaimers, so some of these may not apply to you; where that happens they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages — including lost data or lost profits — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Where the law doesn’t allow this, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features, pricing or legal requirements. Updated versions are posted on this page with a new date and take effect when posted. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. If you disagree with a change, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription before the next renewal.
